Join The Iowa Children’s Museum for NASA’s annual International Observe the Moon Night! International Observe the Moon Night is held when the Moon is around the first quarter ― a great phase for evening observing. Before the moon comes into view that night, join them for a day celebrating Earth’s beloved Moon to prep your kiddos for a great night of moon-gazing at home!
Throughout the day, their PLAYologists will facilitate special, hands-on activities centered around the Moon, our nearest celestial neighbor! They will also be holding a giveaway for one of their fun, educational, space-themed ‘Play Packs.’
Activities are included with admission; they are free for members!
