Village Caregiving was founded in 2013 by Andrew Maass, Jeff Stevens, and Matt Walker, three friends who grew up together in Huntington, West Virginia. Each of them had a personal experience with a family member in need of home care services, but when they searched for affordable, reliable options, they found the local market lacking. That’s when they decided to make a difference. With backgrounds in law and a shared passion for helping others, they opened Village Caregiving to provide families with the kind of compassionate, family-centered care they had wanted for their own loved ones.

What started as a small operation with just one employee in Barboursville has grown into the largest privately owned home care agency in the country. Today, Village Caregiving serves clients across the Midwest and Eastern U.S., with more than 50 locations and nearly 2,000 employees.
