At Fluff ‘N Buff, we offer professional, compassionate pet grooming services that focus on making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and pampered. Owner Kara Krapfl brings a personal touch to each grooming session, ensuring every pet in her care gets the attention and care they deserve.

Kara completed her Pet Grooming certification from Kirkwood Community College in Spring 2024, where she learned safe and effective grooming techniques for both dogs and cats. Her training covered a wide range of skills, including safe pet handling, bathing, drying, grooming safety, and basic pet styling. Kara also specializes in grooming pets that may be anxious or are new to grooming, providing a calm, one-on-one environment to help ease their nerves.

Located on the same beautiful farm as her u-pick flower business, Lovely Bunches, Fluff ‘N Buff offers a unique and peaceful setting for your pet’s grooming experience. Kara’s goal is to create a stress-free environment, ensuring your pet leaves looking and feeling their best.

At Fluff ‘N Buff, we offer expert grooming services with a focus on pet safety, comfort, and personalized care. Kara’s certification from Kirkwood Community College has equipped her with the skills and knowledge to groom a wide variety of dog breeds commonly found in the Midwest, as well as cats.

• Bathing and Washing: Gentle, thorough washing to keep your pet’s coat clean and healthy, using the best techniques for each breed.
• Trimming and Styling: Professional haircuts tailored to your pet’s breed, personality, and your preferences. Kara can expertly execute the five most common grooming styles for dogs, including specific trimming for the head, ears, feet, and tail.
• Nail Clipping: Safe and precise nail trimming to keep your pet comfortable and their claws healthy.
• Ear Cleaning: Proper cleaning techniques to help prevent ear infections and keep your pet’s ears clean and fresh.
• Specialized Grooming for Anxious Pets: Kara’s one-on-one setup allows her to provide extra attention to pets that may be nervous or anxious, making sure they are calm and comfortable throughout the grooming process.
